Interested in informal entrepreneurship?

The article “Keeping it informal? The role of national governance and culture in informal entrepreneurship enablement” was published as open access in the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research. The study examines how the interaction between formal institutional structures and culture influences informal entrepreneurship. Professor Gimenez-Jimenez and Dr. Esther Salvi show that the effect is not linear but U-shaped. The findings provide new insights into the drivers of informal entrepreneurship in both industrialized and developing countries.
